The Holistic Centre for Neurodiversity is a therapeutic service for children. The sessions are run by a multidisciplinary team who are highly-skilled, university-trained professionals.
We specialise in working with autistic and neurodivergent children and those with trauma history, who require support with their development. We are dedicated to building strong and trusting relationships with the child and family.
We focus on building and supporting the child's self-esteem, independence and resilience. Our sessions are about engaging children in play, using investigative and multisensory methods that strengthen connections and help develop emotional regulation. By meeting the child where they are on their developmental journey and tailoring it to their needs, strengths and interests, we support their development in the most meaningful and authentic way.
The Holistic Centre for Neurodiversity Method was established in the Blue Mountains, in 2018, by our principal and owner, Sarah Maniscalco. She has developed a methodology that understands and responds to the child's strengths and needs.
Sarah Maniscalco leads the team. She guides and supports the family through their time and develops strategies for the child that build emotional and social capacity. Sarah develops an individualised plan that supports the NDIS goals and guides the families through the NDIS review and implementation.
Our staff have Working With Children Check, Police Check, First Aid Training, Child Protection Training and Infectious Control Training
